Patricia Alaroker

MANAGER

Patricia is a founding member of the organisation and an advisor on technology and development. She holds a Master of Philosophy in The Theory and Practise of Human Rights from the Norwegian Centre for Human Rights, University of Oslo. Over the past ten years, she has undertaken voluntary and paid work in the areas of capacity building for youth and women and policy coordination respectively. Her master thesis interrogated the relationship between Ugandan political parties and women's political rights. Patricia pays keen interests in the relationship between development and technology.

Lelia Marcau

DEVELOPMENT AND TECHNOLOGY ADVISOR

Lelia is the founder of the organization and her interest span from the socio-economic effects of technological developments to privacy and the humanitarian issues involved by drones used in war circumstances. Her background is in philosophy, ethics and human rights. She holds an M.Phil in Ethics from Babes-Bolyai University with a thesis concerning the foundation of moral judgements in Kantian philosophy and a M.Phil in Human Rights from the Norwegian Center for Human Rights, University of Oslo, with a thesis titled “The Human Rights Challenges of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Nina Pupalova

LEGAL ADVISOR

Nina is the co-founder and legal advisor of TechR. She holds an LL.M. degree in Information and Communication Technology Law and an M.Phil. in Human Rights from the University of Oslo. Nina specialises in AI and Robotics Regulation, Privacy and Personal Data Protection, Legal Tech and Internet Governance. Her research focus is placed on non-discrimination in AI. She has previous experience from NGO sector. She studied law in Norway, Denmark and Slovakia.

Efthymios Mavromatis

Project Advisor

Efthymios has a background in social and political sciences. He holds a Master’s degree (M.Phil.) in Theory and Practice of Human Rights from the University of Oslo and he has worked for many years with NGOs in Greece, Norway and Finalnd in projects promoting social inclusion for vulnerable groups. Currently Efthymios takes part in projects involving cultural relations, the nordic model, social sustainability and the effects of the Fourth Industrial Revolution on human rights and he is dedicated to finding ways technology can be used for educational purposes.
